Sunny and beautiful Texas is one of the hottest real estate marketplaces world and over the last couple of years Texas has noted a lot of changes within it’s real estate market! Texas has perpetually been known for it’s incredible landscapes and activities, which makes it one of the most perfect places for a vacation home or a more permanent place of residency for anyone that wants to live in one of the best states in the country! In the past, Texas has been known as a Realtors dream come true particularly with it’s explosive growth potential. In most sections such as Corpus Christi and Dallas the prices of real estate properties went up as much as 225% in some areas. This was an emphatic interchange in monetary value – making real estate in Texas very hard to afford!

However, this price change let everyone know that Texas was very sought for real estate. Even though the prices were really high, this also changed the entire economic construction throughout Texas, leading to more business formations, work opportunities, and a lot more income. Even though it added more opportunities, the economic maturation also helped to make Texas a very pricey state to live in. In the future, Texas real estate will stay a popular place to buy real estate, although the movement of high and low will always be there, Texas is still one of the best states in the country to live in no matter how much the real estate trends tend to waver. Listed below are some cities I found online that were awarded as being the best places to live in Texas all for their own reasons;

Austin – Its Austin, what more can you say; its absolutely beautiful, there are a ton of things to do and its a really nice place to look into for the market!

Houston. I like the Woodlands & Magnolia area as well as Katy, TX.

Temple/Killeen. The numbers actually WORK out there.

Edinburg is said to be one of the safest places to live.

McAllen-Mission. Close to Edinburg.

Corpus Christi. Affordable beach-front property anyone?

El Paso. Affordable desert property anyone? No? Well the area is still growing.Dallas. Austin’s high-rise cousin (in terms of being an appreciation market, of course.)

Fort Worth. Growing and yet affordable.

Check out some of the prices in these areas, I think you will be pleasantly surprised! For example, a four bedroom 2.5 bath in Austin (which was named the most popular city in Texas) is a mere $200k and it’s really incredible inside and it has also been recently remodeled so you know everything is really new and clean along with extra additions for upgrades (automatically added). Remember to do your research, it will pay off in the end!
